Beta Top-up Cashback and Refund

What the event does
Every WCoin Giftcard you redeem during the Alpha and Beta phase is written down. When the server goes live officially, the WCoin you spent during that window is returned to you in full, plus a bonus on top. In other words, testing the server during Beta costs you nothing.
Event window
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Start | 10 August 2026, 00:00 |
| End | 24 August 2026, 23:59 |
| Refund | 100% of the WCoin redeemed in that window |
| Bonus | +45% extra WCoin |
The event rules block, with the exact start and end timestamps and the refund rate.
Only Giftcards successfully redeemed between those two timestamps count. Redemptions made before the start or after the end are outside the event and are not refunded.
How to take part
- Buy a WCoin Giftcard through the normal top-up channels.
- Redeem the card on your account as usual. A successful redemption is recorded automatically - there is nothing to register or sign up for.
- Open apexmu.gg/topup-cashback to see your running total.
Reading your cashback page
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Total Base WCoin | Sum of all Giftcards redeemed inside the event window. |
| Bonus Extra | The additional 45% you will receive on top. |
| Refund WCoin on Launch | What will actually be credited: base + bonus. |
| Claimed Giftcards | Every card, its last four digits, value and redemption time. |
| Refund Status | Pending until launch, then shows the amount and the time it was paid. |
Your personal summary. The four counters update automatically each time a Giftcard is redeemed.
What happens at official launch
- When the Beta phase closes, all WCoin balances are reset to zero. This applies to everyone and is part of the wipe - spend what you have before the deadline.
- Your recorded base amount is then paid back with the bonus added, straight to your account WCoin balance.
- The Refund Status on your cashback page changes to show the refunded amount and timestamp.
The refund is calculated per server. If you redeemed cards on more than one server, each is tracked and refunded separately.
Common questions
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do I have to keep the WCoin unspent to get the refund? | No. The refund is based on what you redeemed, not on your remaining balance. Spend freely during Beta. |
| Do items bought during Beta stay? | No. Beta progress is wiped at launch. The refunded WCoin is what carries over. |
| My card is missing from the list. | Only successful redemptions inside the window appear. Check the timestamp and the server you redeemed it on. |
| When exactly is the refund paid? | At official launch, after the WCoin reset is performed. |
