Muun System Guide
Comprehensive user guide for Muun Pets and Option Leveling progression.
Muun is a powerful companion pet system that boosts your character's abilities and stats throughout your adventures in MU Online.
Normal Muun
Standard combat pets equipped in the main Muun inventory slots.
Mount / Rider Muun
Ridable companion Muuns (Tibetton, Repen, Pawn, Griffs) that alter movement animations.
Sub / Hero Muun
Special hero classification group including Prince, Rex Millon, and Fairy Lara.
Tempest Muun
Exclusive Tempest classification group such as Lion Mask, Bael, and Snow Fairy.
Muuns are classified into 5 distinct Tiers of rarity:
Muun Evolution Forms:
Base Form
Initial unevolved appearance of the Muun pet.
Evolved Form
Enhanced appearance awakened using an Evolution Stone.
Character stats (HP, SD, Defense, Exp) scale progressively from Level 1 up to Level 5. Higher levels provide significantly stronger stat bonuses!
To upgrade a Muun's Level, drag and drop a material Muun onto the target Muun.
IMPORTANT: The material Muun MUST BE Level 1.
Example: Dropping a Lv1 Muun onto a Lv2 Muun will upgrade it to Lv3. Evolution Stones are NOT required to reach Max Level!
Max Level Limits by Rank:
Evolution Stone: Used exclusively to awaken the Muun into its Evolved Form. It does not alter the Max Level limit.
Evolve on the Website Muun Evolution
Evolve a maxed base Muun into its Evolved form. No Evolution Stone is needed.
- The base Muun must be at its maximum level.
- Unsummon this Muun in game so it is in the Muun inventory, then evolve it.
- Please log out of game before evolving a Muun.
- An evolved Muun starts again at Lv 1 and levels up like a base Muun.
Evolution Cost:
- Requires 3 Full Muun Energy Converter (Energy 120/120) in the Muun inventory.
- Jewel of Chaos x30 · Character inventory
An evolved or Hero Muun stored at Lv 0 shows as Max in game instead of Lv 1. Repair it to Lv 1 on the Muun Evolution page.
Repairing a Hero Muun or an evolved Tempest Muun takes the same materials as an evolution. Other evolved Muuns are repaired for free.
- Save Level 1 Material Muuns: Store extra Level 1 Muuns in your vault as upgrade materials. Never level up your material Muuns above Lv1, as the game requires Lv1 materials for upgrading!
